The Global Center of Greater Cincinnati

The Global Center is the vision of two dynamic organizations: The International Visitors Council and the World Affairs Council. Separately, these two organizations have long histories of involvement in global issues. Together, they bring a wealth of unique experience and resources to the Center.

The Global Center connects Greater Cincinnatians to the world by hosting educational programs and engaging international dignitaries, educators, students and citizens in dialogue. The Center also cultivates Cincinnati’s value in the global marketplace by creating international networks and corporate partnerships.

We believe that international visits, and exchange of ideas and experience, make the region, the nation and the world more peaceful and productive for all its people.

Our goals: to increase awareness of and broaden our community’s understanding of national and international issues and to promote Cincinnati’s status as an important international center for business and culture.

To achieve these goals, the Global Center

  1. Offers forums to consider and discuss significant international issues and how they affect American foreign policy and the Cincinnati region.
  2. Hosts international dignitaries and visitors
  3. Provides educational resources for local schools, from elementary to college
  4. Offers local businesses access to foreign government officials and industry leaders

The Global Center of Greater Cincinnati is a non-profit, non-partisan organization.
