Recent visitors have traveled to Greater Cincinnati from over 100 countries for professional programs arranged by the IVC.

Linking Cincinnati to the World

IVC serves as a valuable resource for the Greater Cincinnati area by:

  • Increasing Greater Cincinnati's presence in the international arena
  • fostering intercultural communication and understanding
  • establishing high level contacts for building collaborative business and trade relations and
  • facilitating the development of cooperative economic ventures and cultural exchanges.

Professional Exchange Programming

The IVC in collaboration with the United States government and private entities is a training and educational organization which specializes in professional programs for emerging world leaders and their local peers.

Each IVC program is custom designed to meet the specific objectives of the international visitor. IVC staff arrange formal meetings and interviews with local professionals in government, business, social services, arts, and academia.

The IVC is a member of the National Council for International Visitors, a network of more than 100 programming organizations throughout the US.
