World View

How many times do you wonder about the immigrant family living next door to you? Do you wonder about where they come from? why they are here? what they did when they were in their home country? what they eat? love? value? what inspires them about America? these are just some of the thoughts that World View explores and demystifies...

On the 3rd of September 2006, the Council launched a weekly 60-minute radio program, produced by volunteer members of the local community.

Focused on Greater Cincinnati’s relationship with the world, its mission is to promote understanding of world societies, to examine the relationship between diverse communities, and to raise awareness of the region’s interconnectedness with the world.

The program plan includes a world press review, in-depth interviews with international visitors living in our region , a “world region-of-the-week” analysis, commentaries, and listeners’ opinions on varied global topics.

World View can be heard every Sunday on WMKV 89.3FM from 8pm - 9pm. Follow this link for WorldView Archives
